The Lushi county in the city of Sanmenxia, Henan province has sped up for achieving good work results while approaching to the end of the national 12th Five-Year Plan.

It was hoped that the fruitful conclusions would help the county start the 13th Five-Year Plan in 2016 with a good beginning.

However, government authorities in the county have been required to keep a watchful eye on the progress of the projects under construction. Complete projects on the edge of operation are expected to set clear growth targets at multiple levels.

The county is leaving no stone unturned to push forward the progress of three local projects with more than 100 million yuan ($15.64 million) worth in investment. All work carried out is planned to expand the scales and improve the quality to blaze the trail for these projects. The work will help in granting provincial status too.

And nine special projects have been equipped with teams responsible to attract more investments. The teams have handpicked a growing number of projects with a wide range of fields, from agriculture, forestry, ecological environment, public facilities to economic circulation.

The government also urged to accelerate the pace to relieve poverty in the county. Based on the principle of alleviating poverty through development, it has adopted several policies to inject new energy for industrialization, tourism, public facility improvement, new-type urbanization and transportation in Lushi county.

But experts have pointed out that such a high-standard development target will not have longevity without strict execution of power. So Lushi policymakers have also chalked out a working system with strict adherence to ensure clean governance.
