Gujing celebrates annual ceremony
The Gujing Group held a launch ceremony for its Gujing God of Wine Square and 2015 autumn Gujinggong Wine making in Bozhou, Anhui province, on Sept 9.
More than 2,000 nationwide pharmaceutists, members of real estate associations, wine dealers, media reporters and Gujing Group employees took part in the historic ceremony.

Cao Cao, King Wu of the Wei Kingdom in the Three Kingdoms Period (AD 220 to 280), who spread Bozhou wine, was regarded as Gujing's God of Wine. The statue of him at the Gujing God of Wine Square is 19.6 meters tall and the world's largest Cao Cao statue.

Addressing the participants at the ceremony, Liang Jinhui, chairman of Gujing Group, said that the reputation of Gujinggong Wine had made great strides in the past. In the future, Gujing Group will strive to develop the brand new mode of "Gujing 5.0 Age" to focus on white spirits and end-users. It will develop into an industrial chain, operating in wine making, agricultural products deep processing, real estate and tourism, to ensure interaction between producers and consumers.

Ma Yong, secretary-general of China Alcoholic Drinks Association, congratulated Gujing Group and said that the Group treating Cao Cao as the God of Wine and holding a worship ceremony on Sept 9 every year is an innovative way of promoting the Chinese wine culture. The concept of "Gujing 5.0 Age" is an exemplary illustration of liquor industry to reform and transform in the mobile Internet era.

The ceremony ended in a chorus performance by Gujing Group staff. Attendees enjoyed the beautiful songs and the cheongsam fashion shows.
