Nanxun Ancient Town, a mixture of Chinese and Western feature

Nanxun Ancient Town in the city of Huzhou, Zhejiang province welcomed representatives of more than 50 national media organizations on Sept 9.

The town was the fourth stop in media representatives' six-day visit to Zhejiang province. The visit, with the theme of "Picturesque Zhejiang", aims to explore the hidden charms and natural beauty of Zhejiang.

In the town, representatives visited well-preserved ancient buildings such as Little Lotus Villa and Jiaye Library. They also learned about the process of weaving silk.

Nanxun Ancient Town is well-known for its rich cultural heritage and flourishing silk industry, with a history of 760 years. It is listed among China's top six ancient water towns and it is also Huzhou's first national 5A-level tourist attraction.
