Northeast Asia Expo welcomes more participants
The coming China – Northeast Expo in Northeast China’s Jilin province hopes to attract more businesses from Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa, Jilin Daily reported on July 28.
The 10th China-Northeast Asia Expo will be held in Changchun, capital of Jilin, from Sept 1 to 6. Planned activities include a Northeast Asia cooperation forum, an international sourcing fair, a service trade conference, and the Northeast Asian e-commerce exchange symposium, said Cheng Ke, deputy secretary-general of the Expo.
Well-known brands such as Cargill and Pfizer from America, Japan, Holland and other countries have been invited to the Expo, which will boost the economic development of the province.
Emphasizing the Belt and Road Initiative, the Northeast Asia cooperation forum aims to promote cooperation between China and Northeast Asian countries and regions by accelerating the development of land and sea transportation, as well as harbors and ports.
The Northeast Asian e-commerce exchange symposium will enhance business exchanges among Northeast Asian countries, make innovations on distribution models, speed up the development of e-commerce trade, and integrate online and offline business.
The organizers have also invited famous companies worldwide, said An Chuanli, director of Jilin provincial commerce department’s convention and exhibition office. In addition, the commerce department will also arrange local food and pharmaceutical companies to attend the exhibition.
So far, more than 100 enterprises have planned to attend the Expo. Jilin has confirmed 1,016 overseas traders’ participation, and all the guests will receive a considerate reception to maximize the efficiency of the event, An added.
