Wuxi village welcomes foreign expatriates
Doushan village in the city of Wuxi in East China’s Jiangsu province received the first batch of foreign tourists on June 16.
The village features a variety of historical buildings, beautiful scenery and agricultural products.
Foreign students from Jiangnan University, expats working in the city and western-Chinese families arrived on the first stop of the trip – the former headquarters the New Fourth Army’s sixth division – at 9:00 am.

The building served as the headquarters of Tan Zhenlin’s troops from 1939 to 1941 during World War II and contains many relics from the time.
