China - Northeast Asia Expo starts 100 day countdown
This year’s China - Northeast Asia Expo (CNEA Expo) started its 100 day countdown on May 24, with countdown boards at local landmarks such as Changchun Railway Station and Changchun Children’s Park.
With the theme “Open and mutual trust, common development and a new vision of Northeast Asia cooperation”, the Expo is scheduled to take place at Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center from Sept 1 to 6.
A total of five forums, 22 trade and economic cooperation activities as well as five sessions of cultural and people-to-people exchanges will be held.
Approximately 100,000 businessmen, trade and economic officials from home and abroad are expected to participate.
The Expo will fit in the Road and Belt Initiative, promote regional cooperation and revitalize of the old industrial bases of Northeast China. The conferences and activities are planned in accordance with four aspects: “Peripheral diplomacy and opening-up; regional cooperation in Northeast Asia, international economic and trade exchanges, and a new round of the revitalization of the northeast industrial bases.
So far, the schedules and plans for all conferences are set and invitation of businesses and exhibitors is being carried forward.
