Beijing-Dunhuang-Korla flight completes maiden voyage

The Beijing-Dunhuang-Korla flight completed its maiden voyage on May 17. The flight CA1279, was managed by Air China and is the first flight to fly from Beijing to Korla in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region via Dunhuang, Gansu province.

According to Air Chia, the airline will operate three flights to Korla a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The flight departs from Beijing at 07:25 am, arrives in Dunhuang at 10:50 am and terminates in Korla at 1:30 pm. The return flight departs from Korla at 2:20 pm, arrives in Dunhuang at 3:50 pm and terminates in Beijing at 7:35 pm.

The Beijing-Dunhuang-Korla flight is expected to promote mutual commutation and drive the economic, cultural and tourism development of the three regions.
