The China United Airlines has started serving a new air route further connecting the north and south of China. A new Shijiazhuang (Hebei province)-Ningbo (Zhejiang province)-Foshan (Guangdong province) air route was launched by China United Airlines Co on Feb 9, according to a statement by the carnoc.com, a website on civic aviation in China.

The portal website said the new air route would use a Boeing 737, one of the world’s largest and most advanced airliners.

The flight is scheduled daily, and departs from Shijiazhuang Airport at 7 am, stops over at Ningbo Airport around 8:55 am; at 9:40 am it will set out once again and arrive at Foshan Airport at 11:40 am. The whole journey is estimated to take about five hours.

The China United Airlines will launch a special 70 percent discount promotion for the new flights during the so-called Spring Festival rush, known as "Chunyun" in Chinese, from Feb 4 to March 15.
