What We Do

    “China in the Eyes of Foreigners” trips allow foreign media, freelancers and foreigners access to local governments across China to get a truer picture of the economic, cultural, and tourist conditions. This benefits China’s image abroad and contributes to multilevel, and multilateral exchanges with the rest of world.The trips have had a notable effect by acting as a bridge to the rest of the world and allowing interaction between foreigners and local people to create greater mutual understanding.

    “洋眼看中国”系列活动由中国日报和地方政府或企业共同举办，通过邀请海外媒体、自由媒体人及海外友人到中国参观采访，展示各地经济、文化、旅游等方面发展面貌，推动世界各国对当地的真实了解，从而树立良好的国际形象，促进与各个国家全方位、多层次的交流。

    

    Time：About 7 days (including arrival and departure days)

    时长：7天左右（包含接机、送机各一天）

    

    Place：1-2 provinces/cities of China

    地点：中国1-2个省市地区

    

    Frequency：4-5 times every year

    周期：每年4-5次

    

    Invitation: According to the type of each event, we will invite reporters, photographers, freelancers, and renowned people from specific fields to join us.

    Procedure:

    1 month before - Formal invitation letter send out

    2 weeks before - Guests helped with their visa and flight tickets

    1 week before - Trip notes and background information send out

    1 month after - Submit published reports, photos and web links
