Organized by the local municipal tourism bureau since July, the service skill contest between the host hotels of this year’s Summer Davos Forum in Tianjin will come to its final stage on August 15.
The contest, consisting of hotels’ internal selections and the final, aims to assess the comprehensive qualities of hotel staff, including their appearance in uniforms, professional skills and oral English.
A total of 42 employees from 11 hotels will compete in the final for their awards, which consists of four first prizes, eight second prizes, and 12 third prizes.
