One of the largest electronic fairs in western China will be held in Chengdu from July 10 to 12.
China Electronics Fair (CEF) West Show 2014 is the summer edition of the CEF, which holds spring, summer and fall editions in Shenzhen, Chengdu and Shanghai respectively, with a total exhibition area of 150,000 square meters each year. It serves consumer electronics, computers and communication, automobile, power supply and defense industries.
"Chengdu is the gateway to the southwestern region, and one of the most important electronic information industry bases in China. The fair held in Chengdu will help companies explore the fast growing electronics market in western China," said the organizers.
With smartcity, cloud computing and Internet as its highlights, the event this year is expected to bring together 600 exhibitors and 30,000 professionals in Chengdu to an exhibition area spread over 25,000 square meters, according to the organizers.
