The CEO of Xiaomi said Xiaomi 3 is the fastest cell phone in the world, as the company launched the mobile phone and Xiaomi TV at the Beijing International Convention Center on September 5.

Lei Jun also said that Xiaomi 3 has two platforms and supports both TD-WCDMA and WCDMA, and its performance is 45% higher than Xiaomi 2 while it consumes 30% less power.

 Xiaomi TV has 47 inch screens like Samsung and LG.

Lei added that the Xiaomi 3 mobile phone and Xiaomi TV are both cost effective products, and that the company has updated its logistics and service system, and several of its stores will be upgraded.

He said that the public can experience the products before they are available on the market, as fans of Xiaomi products can enjoy offline activities in the shops.

In addition, another main function of the shops is after-sales service.
