China Northeast Asia Expo promotion held in Seoul

A China-Northeast Asia Expo introduction and marketing event was recently held in Lotte Hotel Seoul, South Korea. It is the first overseas promotion since the Northeast Asia Expo was renamed. Officials of the economic and commercial counselor's office of the Chinese embassy in South Korea, along with well-known chambers, commerce associations in South Korea, business representatives and media reporters, were invited to participate in the meeting. The Shandong Department of Commerce and Expo Affairs Bureau gave a detailed introduction of the expo.
The promotion aroused great interest among the local government, chambers and business associations, with over 70 representatives from more than 40 business associations and organizations attending the event. It also attracted 60 reporters from about 50 local media. Donga Ilbo, Chosun Ilbo, KBS Radio, Chinese Television and other well-known South Korean media provided special coverage on the promotion, with 12 cameras used for live recording. The Chinese edition of Korea Xinhua newspaper and South Korea and Japan Daily Chinese edition featured full-page coverage of the China - Northeast Asia Expo. Donga Ilbo reproduced the event on a prominent part of its published papers. A number of media reporters interviewed the person in charge of the expo about the focus and hot issues of the expo after the meeting.
The promotion evoked nationwide response in South Korea. Representatives of the Korea Seoul Industry Promotion Foundation, Korea International Trade Association, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Korea Food Industry Association, Korea Enterprise Collaboration Association and other well-known Korean commerce associations said that they will actively organize enterprises to participate in the ninth China-Northeast Asia Expo. Korea CJ Group, Kumho Tire and other famous enterprises expressed a strong desire to participate. According to the Korea Industry Promotion Resources Department, they will make every effort to arrange speeches for ministerial-level officials at the Northeast Asia Cooperation Forum.
