Century Metropolis in Shanghai is located in Zhuyuan Trading Park at the intersection of four subway lines: Line 2, Line 4, Line 6 and Line 9. It covers 89,200 square meters and will act as a multi-functional service center for business, accommodation, commercial and cultural activities.

District 2 and District 3 in the north were developed by Lujiazui Co Ltd and Bailian Group. The districts occupy a ground space of 37,000 square meters and have an investment of 2.4 billion yuan ($380.31 million). District 2 and District 4 in the south were developed by Hutchison Whampoa and covers 51,000 square meters of land with an investment of 4.6 billion yuan ($728.93 million). The project began in 2008 and will be finished by the end of 2015.
