Kong Xiangrui Model Worker Innovation Workshop established

On May 11, 2012, “Kong Xiangrui Model Worker Innovation Workshop” which was named after the national model worker Kong Xiangrui was formally established at Tianjin Port China Coal Hua Neng Coal Terminal Co., Ltd. Wang Qinglin, chair of the trade unions of Tianjin Port Group Co., Ltd unveiled the sign for the workshop which is known to be the first of its kind ever launched by TPGC.

Tianjin Port China Coal Hua Neng Coal Terminal Co., Ltd has taken a lead in establishing the model worker innovation workshop in order to bring the guiding role of a model worker into full play during the development of the enterprise, upgrade the enterprise’s innovation capability, carry out technology research, technology innovation and management innovation, spread corporate culture, display model worker’s elegant demeanor, promote model workers’ experience and expand brand effect. The main mission of the workshop is to implement technology improvement, undertake technological renovations, be responsible for technological difficulty study and train backup technology force for the company by combining with the real production practice. The key members of each professional team are mainly those who ever won a national or provincial level model worker award or the municipal level Labor Award or the front-line technical backbones who ever won prizes in the skill competitions of Tianjin port.

It is learned that each core professional team of the workshop will focus on innovation projects in an effort to improve the standard of the operations and maximize the information and resource share. In addition, they will hold discussions frequently on different themes, convene excellent talents, train and create more “front-line innovative talents” to push the overall improvement of the employee qualities. Up to now, the workshop has worked out 19 annual training programs and 29 technology renovation and reform programs.
