The opening ceremony of the third Global Shaanxi Businessmen Conference was held in Xi'an on Tuesday.

Zhao Zhengyong, governor of Shaanxi province, Feng Lun, representative of Shaanxi businessmen, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

Zhao said Shaanxi will enhance the core competitiveness of its enterprises to attract more investment. He also hoped that businessmen from the province, known as Qin businessmen, could participate in development projects in Shaanxi, using their rich recourses.

According to Feng, Shaanxi businessmen could bring lots of information to open the market here. New progress would also be made to promote institutional innovation.

Meanwhile, the Qin businessmen -- Shaanxi was known as Qin in ancient times -- are eager to cooperate with Xi'an-Xianyang New District through an industrial fund.

They can also bring money, talent, especially entrepreneurial talent, to create a safe, value-added and innovative environment to Shaanxi.

The conference ended on Wednesday.
