105 key construction projects start in Xi'an

A total of 105 key construction projects started in Jingwei Metro Weapons Industrial Base in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, with a total investment of 73.2 billion yuan, on March 6th.
Sun Qingyun, the city's Party Secretary, announced the start of construction projects. Dong Jun, mayor of Xi'an, and Lei Yingjie, director of Xi'an Municipal Development and Reform Commission, attended the ceremony along with other leaders.
According to Lei Yingjie, the 105 key construction projects covered four major areas, including industry, service, people's livelihood and infrastructure. The projects involved 48 industrial projects with a total investment of 19.9 billion yuan, which take TFT color liquid crystal display material project as the representation, 39 service projects with a total investment of 45.6 billion yuan, 13 livelihood projects with a total investment of 6.4 billion yuan, and 5 infrastructure projects with a total investment of 1.26 billion yuan.
These projects will improve the industrial development and people's living standard in Xi'an, according to Lei.
Dong Jun said the 105 projects have great significance to the development of Xi'an.
Dong called on people to make the start of the 105 projects as an opportunity, work hard and promote the construction and implementation of these projects.
The 105 key construction projects have reached the biggest scale in Xi'an in recent years.
