DALIAN - Government officials and entrepreneurs from Dalian in Northeast China's Liaoning province and the Republic of Korea's (ROK) Ulsan shared their environmental-friendly technologies, including sewage treatment and air purification, at a forum on Thursday.
The event in Dalian, Liaoning province, was jointly organized by the two cities and the ROK's consulate general in Shenyang, Cho Baeksang.
Ulsan has successful experience in building an eco-friendly city and Dalian is the best-developed city in Northeast China, said Cho. Both can share experience and information.
In September, Dalian and Ulsan signed a memorandum to strengthen communication and cooperation for green development.
Cho said more than 40,000 Koreans live in Dalian while almost half of all 4,500 Korean companies in China's northeast region are based in Dalian.
