i. Happy games

Time: everyday

Details: Tourists receive game cards when they buy the tickets of Suzhou Jiangnan Country Culture Park. When a tourist wins a game, they can get a red stamp on their card. The activity consists of 12 games. When a tourist wins a game, they can get a pass. Victors who get all 12 passes are able to get special gifts.

ii. Catching chickens

Time: everyday

Details: A field is set up within the park to host the interactive game. Tourists buy dyed wooden arrows with the arrowheads covered by cloth. If a tourist hits a chicken and dyes it, he can take home the chicken.

iii. Country food, Yangtze River seafood, great discount

Time: everyday

Details: Restaurants along the food street in Yonglian town are offering discounts during the fair. They are also introducing a variety of country dishes, Yangtze River seafood and traditional dishes of Zhangjiagang..

iv. Country show

Time: 9:30 am - 10:30 am, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Details: magic, circus, parade, folk performance

v. CCTV animation theme park opens in Yonglian

Time: Sep. 28 - Oct. 8 (10 days)

Details: providing balloon castle covering 5,000 square meters, interacting with children, celebrating the National Day on Oct. 1.

vi. Family fair – play old-time games with dad

Time: Oct. 15 - Oct. 16

Details: offering discounted family tickets, organizing old-time games, such as hoop trundling, spinning top, sandbag throwing, etc.

vii. Fishing contest

Time: Oct. 23

Details: organizing fishing fans to participate in fishing contest

viii. Yonglian Fair photography contest

Time: Sep. 20 - Nov. 15

Venue: Country Culture Park

Details: tourists upload photos and videos shot during their stay in Yonglian, especially during the fair. Winners will be determined based on the publicity, online visits, popularity and artistic effect of their work. The activity aims to promote the fair and boost the follow-up marketing of tourism offerings.

VII. Discounts

i. During the fair, tourists who buy tickets (not including tourists with free tickets) can attend a lucky draw at a designated place and have a chance to win gifts, such as souvenirs (around 30 yuan), four-piece bed sets (around 500 yuan), tablet computer (around 2,000 yuan), etc. The top prize is a 100,000-yuan car.

ii. During the fair, tourists who buy tickets can get a 100-yuan coupon and spend it in the park, on activities such as horse riding, arrow shooting and souvenirs.
