Citibank deepens its presence in Sichuan

CHENGDU - Citibank (China) Co., Ltd opened its first sub-branch in Chengdu, Sichuan province.
The new sub-branch is the city's first smart banking outlet designed to provide a unique and superior banking experience to Citibank customers.
Andrew Au, Chief Executive Officer of Citi China, said: "We have had a branch in Chengdu since 2005, and we are extending our business in one of the key commercial centers of western China through this new consumer outlet."
The smart banking concept embodies Citibank's commitment to innovation in the pursuit of improving the customer service experience, according to Simon Chow, Country Business Manager of Citibank China.
"We look forward to our customers enjoying all the smart banking has to offer as we provide them with the best available wealth management and banking services," he said.
