Three years have passed since the devastating 2008 Wenchuan earthquake hit Bailu township in Pengzhou, Chengdu city of southwest China's Sichuan province. Although massive construction work has been underway to transform this town into a combination of Chinese and French flavors, several quake-striken sites have been kept intact to remind the future generations of how strong the destructive power of an earthquake could be.
