Xi'an Jiaotong University to enroll students under 15

Xi'an Jiaotong University in Xi’an, capital of Northwest China’s Sha’anxi Province, will enroll around 130 excellent junior high school graduates under the age of 15.

According to the university authorities, applicants can enter their names for online application from Nov 15 to Dec 31.

Junior high school students will be admitted to the unversity’s "young university student class" on the basis of written examinations, interviews and comprehensive assessment, authorities said.

The written examinations will take place at the end of next February.

Xi'an Jiaotong University started enrolling young university students in 1985, and its "young university student class" has proved a success in training young talent.
