SHANGHAI - Indonesia issued a Chinese biography of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in Shanghai to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of its diplomatic relations with China.
The book, Harus Bisa, which was translated into Chinese by China Radio International, was written by Dino Patti Djalal, who is now Indonesian ambassador to the United States.
"Issuing the book in China is a very significant event in the cultural history of the two countries," said Wang Dongmei, deputy director of China Radio International. "The book will help the Chinese people know more about the president as well as Indonesia."
The book gives an account of President Susilo's talents and arts of leadership, and his moral character, which are reflected in his daily life and work. It will help Chinese readers better understand Indonesia and its leaders.
