Organizations inside and outside China are enthusiastic for the 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), according to Lin Changcong, deputy secretary-general of the CIFIT organizing committee as well as the official director and deputy secretary-general of Fujian provincial government.
More than 50 countries and regions will be participating in the exhibition, including the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, Italy and Finland. Iceland and Burkina Faso will be exhibiting for the first time.
Group exhibitions both inside and outside have been completed and exhibition management and services have come into full operation. The overall preparatory work of the 14th CIFIT has proceeded smoothly and is in the final countdown.
CIFIT has strengthened the investment industry and more than 5,000 new projects have been reported this year, said Lin.
To encourage Chinese enterprises to "go out" to explore international markets, this year's organizing committee has further strengthened the efforts to organize the activities seeking exploration.
The bright spot of this CIFIT is the second World Investment Forum being organized in the same period from September 6-9. More than 11 important activities including a welcome dinner, opening ceremony, Global Investment Summit, Ministerial Round Tables and interactive high-level meetings of international investors will be held at the Forum.
There are 3,214 international standard booths in this year's CIFIT, 400 more than last year. The exhibition scale has reached a historic high and the professionalism has been further enhanced.
Held at the same time are the three professional exhibitions: the sixth Straits Tourism Expo, the second China International Real Estate Investment Fair, and the 2010 China International Energy Conservation Environmental Protection and New Energy Exhibition.
This year's CIFIT Organizing Committee has boldly made an innovation in the business services by opening the "Online CIFIT" (www.cifit.cn), as well as holding series activities like Provincial (City) Day.
The CIFIT is also going to increase industry investment to promote exhibitions that are market-oriented and professional and use new media technologies to enhance interaction.

In recent years, the brand charm of the CIFIT further demonstrated that professional agencies inside and outside have become more and more enthusiastic for holding forums with the platform of the CIFIT.
Currently, officials at the ministerial level from nearly 30 countries like the United States, Turkey, Argentina, Egypt, Zambia, Laos, Afghanistan and Cambodia are sure to participate and nearly 10 heads of state will attend.
