Guizhou AIC established its trademark strategy leading group and issued a responsibility program for each division regarding the implementation of Guizhou trademark strategy. These efforts enforced the trademark supervision, guiding trademark registration, regulating the trademark application and strategy and fulfill duties of relevant parties. In doing so, Guizhou AIC hoped to better its service to economic development, especially the development in rural area. The governments at all levels in Jilin Province attached great importance to the implementation of the TrademarkStrategy. Jilin provincial government approved the special fund to support the Trademark Strategy and provide financial subsidy for the company’s application for well-known or famous trademarks and farmers’ application for agricultural product trademarks and geographical indications. Jilin also held a conference to further implement its trademark strategy.

Ningxia AIC reported three documents concerning trademark strategy to regional government, and had them issued as government decrees. The three documents, Provision on Accelerating Trademark Strategy in Ningxia, Ningxia Development Plan for Well-known and Famous Trademarkfrom 2008 to 2012, and Act on the Determination and Protection of Famous Trademark in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, represented Ningxia’s famous trademark management onto a track of legalization and regulation.

Working together with the other governmental bodies and research institutions, carried out the promulgation of Hubei trademark strategy, and had the research gone through the experts’ review. AIC cadres of Hubei Province went down to Dongfeng Motor Corporation to guide the implementation of the trademarks strategy. Chongqing promulgated a Provision on Building Model City for IP protection and established the new trademark working pattern: “government taking the lead, business acting as entity and AIC promoting”, injecting impetus for the city’s trademark strategy implementation. Chongqing AIC worked out the Measures on Fulfilling the AIC’s Administration Function, Undertaking the Trademark Strategy and Trying to Build IP Model city, explicitly defining the responsibilities of relevant department and measures.
