Chinese premier to attend West China Expo

Updated: 2009-10-10 13:21 Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will attend and address the opening ceremony of the tenth Western China International Economy and Trade Fair and the second West China International Cooperation Forum scheduled for Oct. 16-20. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ma Zhaoxu made the announcement here Saturday. The fair, also known as West China Expo, is to be held in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province. It is co-sponsored by departments of the central authorities and 12 western provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities. |
