11th China International Beer Festival to be held in Dalian

Dalian: The 11th China International Beer Festival will be held in Dalian’s Xinghai Square, from Jul 30th to Aug 10th, the Dalian City government announced today.

The festival is one of the largest in the country, said Yang Zhihai, vice president of China National Light Industry Council, which works with the government to help promote light industry and, along with the Dalian City government, is helping to sponsor the event.

More than 30 beer manufacturers and traders with over 400 beer brands in China and abroad will attend. There will also be 400 shows and performances, including singing and dancing.

“It will attract a lot of world famous beer brands, and will also give an impetus to the domestic demand,” said Dai Yulin, the vice mayor of Dalian.
