Dalian Software fair to promote IT cooperation

Updated: 2009-03-20 11:40 DALIAN: China International Software and Information Service Fair (CISIS) will be held from June 18 to 21 in this port city of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, announced the organizing committee of CISIS recently. As the only national level software fair approved by the State Council of China, CISIS has been successfully held for six sessions. It has gained recognition and concern from IT companies both from home and abroad. Sources from the organizing committee of CISIS said the fair remains appealing to global IT giants, enterprises, and delegations from domestic government institutions, in spite of the severe economic situation. Taking Encouraging Driversas the draft theme, this year’s CISIS will consists of exhibition, conference, and relevant activities, featuring six topics such as international cooperation, innovation, and talents exchange. Besides the 1,200 booths in the 30,000 sq m exhibition zone, the organizing committee will set up a Global IT Village in the international zone to promote the effective high-end negotiation during the exhibition. At the same time,China International Software and Information Service Forum & Entrepreneurs’ Summit, with a theme ofRisks, Opportunities and Growth will focusing on how to benefit China’s information industry promotion plan and how to face the current global economic downturn. Some world famous advisory institutions like IDC, McKinsey, and BearingPoint will give interpretation to the developing trend of the global software industry during the fair.
