The measure applies to ship passengers traveling from Dalian to Tianjin too. And the Beijing municipal public security bureau said it would post armed police, with sniffer dogs, metal detectors and scanners, at all the road entry points to prevent terrorists (or destructive material) from slipping into the capital. These are part of the anti-terrorism measures the government has taken to ensure a safe and smooth Games.
