Villager Zhang opens a coffin that was supposed to be the final resting place for his mother but has now become home to a swarm of bees in Dexing, East China's Jiangxi province, on April 2, 2013. Ten years ago, a nest of bees settled inexplicability in the airtight coffin which was being prepared for Zhang's elderly mother. But upon her death she decided to be cremated and let the bees keep her coffin, producing honey for the family every year. [Photo/CFP] |
