The Korean Week kicked off in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, on Friday afternoon.
Local organizer invited 12 Korean chefs to do Bibimbap (a kind of traditional Korean food made by rice mixed with assorted vegetables and meat in hot stone pot) in a 2.5-meter-diameter and 0.5-meter-deep pot. The Bibimbap can serve for about 2,000 people.
The Korean Week is a promotion activity launched in 2002 to promulgate cooperative ventures between the Republic of Korea (ROK) and China's Liaoning Province.
