Mother loses pups in flood

A black dog searches for her six puppies after a flood in Kali, Southwest China's Guizhou province, May 19, 2012. Torrential rains hit some areas in Kali in the morning of May 19, and 10 houses were submerged, fortunately causing no injuries. However, a black dog nicknamed Xiaohei shuttled alongside the roads in search of her babies. "Xiaohei gave birth to six puppies a month ago, and they drowned in the flood," said a villager.
