Guards unlock handcuffs for prisoners before they board buses in Chengdu Prison, Southwest China's Sichuan province on Feb 14, 2012. More than 640 prisoners were transferred from Chengdu Prison to another prison in the province, Mianyang Prison, on Tuesday. Chengdu Prison started relocating its 1,300-strong prisoners on Tuesday to pave the way for the city’s reconstruction plan. All prisoners were divided into three groups and moved to three different prisons around the city, including Mianyang Prison. Those prisoners transferred to Mianyang are the last batch in the massive relocation. To ensure security on the way from Chengdu to Mianyang, three departments covering traffic police, armed police and public security worked together to escort the motorcade, made of more than 40 vehicles.[Photo/CFP]
