A pit larger than 10 square meters is fenced off on a road near Shanghai Railway Station after a cave-in on Oct 27, 2011. The surface of the road sank by about 1.5 meters, blocking traffic. No one was injured as there were no cars or pedestrians passing the site when the cave-in happened. [Photo/CFP]
