 A first aid helicopter embarks on a trial flight in Beijing on Oct 11, 2011. In the future, residents can call and rent the helicopter, which costs 30,000 yuan ($4,709) an hour, in the event of an emergency. The aircraft will mainly be used for short distance first aid cases, including search and rescue for those lost in the mountains, road accidents, heart attacks, and other medical emergencies.
