Lu Xingyu fights back in charity row

Lu Xingyu, together with her father, holds a news conference on Aug 19, 2011 in Beijing in response to an avalanche of criticism over her suitability to serve as executive chairwoman and secretary-general of the China-Africa Project Hope, which aims to establish 1,000 primary schools in Africa in 10 years. Lu is the daughter of Lu Junqing, a prominent philanthropist, who is chairman of the board of the Tianjiurushang Investment Group.
