Big overpass to serve China’s Silicon Valley

A square pedestrian overpass is under construction in Zhongguancun, a technology hub known as “China’s silicon Valley” in Haidian district, Beijing July 12, 2011. The 327-meter overpass stretches over the North 4th Ring Road and Zhongguancun Street. Five to seven meters in width, the broadest overpass in Beijing will be used within the year. [Photo/CFP]
