 Red tide formed after oil spills

Red tide is seen at the oil spills affected sea area in North China's Bohai Bay, on July 15, 2011. The oil spills near Platform C at Penglai 19-3 oil field were first detected on June 4. ConocoPhillips said on Thursday that the total volume of oil spilled from the Penglai 19-3 Oilfield in Bohai Bay is expected to reach about 1,500 barrels.[Photo/Xinhua]
