Chen Rong poses for a picture in Southwest China's Chongqing, May 21, 2011. The 11-year-old is in the fourth grade and does well in her schoolwork. Her mother, 31, is visually impaired. Her father, 58, lost his left hand in an accident at a quarry where he was working in 2008. As a result, Chen has to share the housework and farm work with her parents. "I hope that I can stay at school, and Mom will able to see me one day," said Chen, though her mother was diagnosed with permanent blindness. Although financial difficulty forces her to have only instant noodles for breakfast, Chen says she will look after her parents for the rest of her life as "their hand and eyes". [Photo/Xinhua]
