 The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" and the Military Band of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China perform a joint concert at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York, May 20, 2011. It was the first ever collaboration between the two army bands since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the US and their first performance at the UN. The PLA Military Band performed in Washington DC (which coincided the PLA chief of the General Staff Chen Bingde's recent visit to the US), and Philadelphia last week and is currently performing in New York.
