An exhaustive search was underway on November 17, 2010 for an Air Force fighter jet that lost contact with air traffic control during a nighttime training mission over Alaska, military officials said. The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor -- a single-seat, twin-engine fighter equipped with stealth technology -- lost contact with air traffic control on November 16, 2010 night, and has not been heard from since.
