A section of the Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway is constructed in Cangzhou, North China’s Hebei province, Oct 12, 2010. Tracks are laid down at the speed of one kilometer per hour. The 1,318 km Beijing-Shanghai high speed rail track is expected to be completed by the end of October enabling trains to reach speeds of 380 km/h and connecting the two cities in less than four hours.
