Vehicles inch along in traffic congestion at the Shuangjing Bridge section of the Third Ring Road in Beijing, Sept 20, 2010. A record 140 traffic jams paralyzed the city's road system on Friday evening, as the number of vehicles on the streets exceeded 4.5 million and as Beijing struggles to cope with the large number of vehicles in the run-up to two national holidays – the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holiday. On Monday, 104 traffic jams were seen during the peak hours, almost the same as on Sunday. [Photo/CFP]
