Road construction workers take a break at a construction site in Dianziping village, Central China's Hubei province, August 5, 2010. The poverty-stricken village is located in a remote mountain area without a road leading to the outside world. With self-collected funds of 70,000 yuan ($10,300) and an allocation of 120,000 yuan ($17,724) from the local government, more than 600 villagers banded together to start construction of the 7.5 kilometer road on a cliff in 2004. The villagers have so far completed 5.2 kilometers.[Photo/Xinhua]
