Chuan Zhumao, born in 1923, was a soldier of the 592nd Regiment, 198th Division, 54th Army, and took part in the Battle of Conquering Gaoligong Mountain, the Battle of Conquering Mamianguan and the Battle of Recovering Tengchong.
Dong Cuilin, born in 1922, was a soldier of the 4th Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Regiment of the Second Reserve-Division, 11th Group of the Expeditionary Force. He fought in the Battle of Nujiang River.
