Updated: 2006-06-24 15:49

Taiwan 'President' Chen Shui-bian (2nd R) holds incense sticks during a prayer ceremony in Taipei Lung Shan Temple June 24, 2006. According to a survey of over 800 adults by the Chinese-language daily China Times, about 40 percent supported an opposition-backed recall measure in parliament to unseat Chen. 'Parliament' is set to vote on the recall motion on Tuesday although it is not expected to pass because the opposition camp lacks the two-thirds support needed to push it through.[Reuters]
