Driver Thiago Medeiros of Brazil crashes his car into the turn
one wall during practice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway May 18, 2006.
Medeiros walked from his car after the incident without assistance. Qualifying
for the May 28 Indianapolis 500, which was postponed due to rain May 13 and 14,
