Blind people can take guide dogs on the buses during the Beijing Paralympics, which runs from September 6-20, the Beijing Public Transport Holdings company said on Wednesday.
Conductors should notify other passengers that guide dogs are working animals and will not hurt them, the statement said. Dogs will be kept in the front of the bus, near conductors. Ownership of large dogs in Beijing is restricted and large dogs are barred from public places.
