China Daily is involved in two exciting projects aimed at extending the hand of friendship from the people of China to the UK.
ZSL London will be taking delivery of a statue of Ming the Giant Panda, who lived at the London Zoo and its sister establishment, Whipsnade Zoo, from 1938 to 1944.
In addition, we are helping to arrange the siting of smaller Giant Panda statues that have been decorated by various Chinese artists.
A roadshow of 20 panda statues, painted by young artists in China, will go on display at various visitor attractions across the UK.
