According to a decision made at a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on Sunday, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Party, will head a newly formed central commission for integrated military and civilian development.
The commission will be the central agency tasked with decision-making, deliberation and coordination on major issues regarding integrated military and civilian development.
